convert from divx pal to ntsc

ok I'm lost. I dont know what I'm doing. I need help. I'm trying to convert a pal divx video to a ntsc divx video. I've tried using besweet and that doesn't work. I've tried using virtualdub and that doesn't work. I might be using these wrong because again I dont know what I'm doing. I never thought that divx conversion would be this hard. If you guys can help me that would be super
