I need a mov to avi converter

I'm making a dvd for a friend, it's a home video off of her digital camera, and it's a mov file, I need to convert it to avi before burning it. Any suggestions on an easy to use converter?

I have been using this when most other players say a file is corrupt. I am going to try converting now. I put my movies on a hard drive so that when I get deployed or on vacation the family and I still have some entertainment.
