it's almost impossible to figure out a mess like yours when you are trying to combine seperate operations and don't give any real details

try to isolate each step and do them manually and check at each stage before starting the next one

when you then have a failed burn post the last full nero burn log

probably got old firmware and new blanks but also incd may be hosing the burns?

not enough real data to go on

      re problem with nero 6.6.1.15

      Hello chewy:
thanks so much for your reply regarding my post,
please note that i tried to up load the last burning failure log ( about 20000 characters) but it turned up to be to large, for the reply box! and i could not figure out which parts of it that I can delete so it can reach you more clearly.
Please let me know so I can up load it as soon as possible.
Once again thanks for your assistance.
      Cheers.

we have a guide for posting a nero burning rom log, personally I would ban users that post a nero vision log after ripping their arms out(just joking)

worst and most useless thing to try and diagnois, took me almost a year to start to get a handle on burn logs, vision logs are a real mess

look in blank media and burning for the guide

bob_snz I used to burn quite a bit with Nero Burning ROM 6606. I didn't use NeroVision so much but the thing I noticed about Nero burning ROM was the registry settings were very fragile. IOW, if I put a blank disc in the drive while Nero was running and the disc was bad, it would hang there indefinitely. When I killed Nero the registry settings would be hosed. I got in the habit of turning auto-insert off and waiting until my drive stopped blinking before starting Nero.

If your Nero registry settings are hosed you might have to uninstall, then use the Nero Registry Cleaner download from Nero to clean out the garbage in the Registry... then do
          a reinstall.

As Chewy mentioned, if you have InCD installed that causes lots of weird things to happen. I burn my erasable discs as if they were CDR or DVDR. You just can't delete
individual files, but it burns way faster anyway.
