subtitles in x264 mp4 for PS3

hi there,

i would like to start using mp4 files on my ps3 (i'm using tversity as a media server). Now i use avi and i place subs in files with a AVIAddXSubs tool. Is there any way that mp4 can contain subs - and that it will be visible for ps3?

If you have the subtitles as a SRT file, then you can rename it so that it has the same name as the video file (eg. if the video file is "myvideo.mp4", rename subtitles to "myvideo.srt"). You can then use PS3 Media Server to stream the MP4 file to your PS3, and PMS will actually stream the subtitles along with the video.
