    xvid playback woes?...try this

    uninstall
    all xvid codecs,
    codec packs,
    media players,like bsplayer,zoom,vidomi,
    ffdshow
and go through the registry and delete all references to xvid

    install
    the latest xvid codec
    ffdshow
    total divx pack
    re clock

i was getting very frustrated over not being able to view these movies,i installed all sorts of stuff on top of each other and i think all that conflicted and resulted in bad playback...i did what i mentioned above and my eyes lit up when i first played a movie through windows media player with no problems, except for a few glitches, but nothing serious....i spent weeks at this, but persistence paid off,the quality is top notch
Working...
