    Weird Windows Media problem

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I'm going to give it a shot.

I did a format about a month ago and one of my routines is to reinstall the codecs. So I always install the divxbundle and the Nimov pack. I know there are some overlapping codecs in there, but I don't think I'm causing any problems. (I hope)

Anyways, after installing these codecs when I'm on the web and try to click on a streaming video or any kind of video with Windows Media Player, the movie plays, but the screen is grey.

I don't have a clue whats wrong. I'm assuming that its the codecs that might be doing it, but what can I do to fix it without uninstalling the codecs? Anyone else have this problem?

    I'm running WinXP.

Anyone have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Or any fixes for it?

    Thanks,
    SpiderX
