have you played with the manual settings in bios?

I have a similar perdicament with my asus board, if I go to 4 sticks I lose the 1T command rate

It doesn't seem to be able to change any memory settings in the BIOS.

                    Memory Clock
This item can be set by the code using [Auto]. You can set one of the
standard values as listed: [133 MHz (DDR266)], [166 MHz (DDR333)],
                    [200 MHz (DDR400)].
                    Flexibility Option
The default value of this option is [Disabled]. It will allow better tolerance for
memory compatibility when it is set to [Enabled].
                    Bank Interleaving
Interleaving allows memory accesses to be spread out over banks on the
same node, or accross nodes, decreasing access contention.
                    Burst Length
Burst length can be set to 8, 4 or 2 beats. 64 Bit Dq must use the 4 beats.
                    CAS Latency (CL)
Use this item to adjust the means of memory accessing. Configuration
options: [Auto], [2.0], [3.0], and [2.5]. The default value is [Auto].
                    TRCD
Use this to adjust TRCD values. Configuration options: [Auto], [2CLK], [3CLK],
[4CLK], [5CLK], and [6CLK]. The default value is [Auto].
                    TRAS
Use this to adjust TRAS values. Configuration options: [Auto], [5CLK], [6CLK],
                    [7CLK], [8CLK], [9CLK], [10CLK], [11CLK], [12CLK], [13CLK], [14CLK], and
[15CLK]. The default value is [Auto].
                    TRP
Use this to adjust TRP values. Configuration options: [Auto], [2CLK], [3CLK],

Thank you That was it. There was a memory clock setting which was on auto. I have left it on 333 for now until the computer settles down.

I am hoping this will be a pleasant surprise when using DVD Rebuilder and Shrink. I have also got a digital TV adapter which although supposed to work on a PIII with 128MB RAM. I still didn't work 100% with a Athlon XP 2000 and 512MB RAM.

I have had a lot of memory problems with auto for the last couple of years
                        in all bios's.

Another pic. The temperture is actually blue.

I don't need one of the Maxtors 1TB yet.

I have 380GB in the computer along with 300GB and 200GB in External Enclosures.

I have done som quick tests.

TMPGEnc DVD Author too 10 minutes to comile some DVD files what used to take 30 minutes.

DVD Shrink took 30 minutes what would have take around 80 minutes (Deep Analysis, AEC Sharp and 80%)

                              DVD Rebuilder

                              2nd pass 50fps

                              HCEnc Old Computer

                              1st pass 20fps

                              Quenc (normal quality) New Computer

                              1st pass 35fps
                              2ns pass 40fps

                              Quenc (normal quality) Old Computer

                              1st pass 15fps
                              2nd pass 25fps

CPU Tempertures on the front display idles around high 20 C. It is currently 28 C idle. Even under load at 100% it hasn't gone past 31 C using Shrink and DVD-RB. The hard disk drive C is similar tempertures.

I have uploaded speedfan tempertures. I think it includes NForce chipset and both hard disks.
