My next drive will probably be this one,

              I like the specs
I do like dealing with zipzomfly which use to be GoogleGear. I ordered an OEM burner from them and it sold out before my order was packed, so the let me have the retail version at same price. Like the 2nd day FedX ship too.

I have 2 WD and God only knows the number of Maxtors that I have. I bought one off ebay knowing it was not working and DOM was less than 3 years. They said if I would give CC# it would not be charged unless I did not return the old HD or ship the old one to them first. I choose to go with CC# and the next day the drive arrived with paid return shipping label. I usually keep a few of same models because you can change the control board without breaking a seal. That way I can get info off and format, put the old controller board back on and return for another one I don't have one but read that external Maxtors have a great cooling sys.

Ok How did I miss this thread?

LOL your not kidding, I would like one though for a second HD.

I upgraded from an 80 gig to a 160 gig and finding I need more room. LOL

750 gig should hold me for a long time. I wonder what that would cost though.
