I use a battery backup.
In Florida you not only get the thunderstorms but the brown outs because everyone has their AC cranked. I paid a lot, but when I'm working and on the phone with a customer, my PC won't turn off. If the power stays off I can have the customer call me back.Comment

I have 2 PCs running off the battery backup. There are so many power cords that I have another surge protector running off it. Although I have a KVM cable, I still have two sets of speakers and the phone plugged in as well. Will this decrease the backup's protection?Comment
