Silly question on my new BENQ

The way I test, use the old spindle that you know how was the quality use to be, burn one at 8x, if it is the same or higher then the burner is great if not clean drive.....

My first test:

This was burned with the new burner I am going to test a few that I did with my old burner. They all played great lets see how that optorites tests out. LOL

can you scan at 8x and see if it is diff?

it is still a good burn

always specify burn speed on a scan, that way you can guess as to whether the bad areas at end were bad dye spread or too fast a burn speed(usually both)
or use cdspeed to burn the iso and it will graph the burn on top of the scan

that's obsolete(disk scan) now that you have a benq, disk transfer tests show some things also

Thats slick I am using this Nero CD-DVD Speed V4.51.1
to burn a disc now. I guess I never paid much attention to any of this before knowing that my old burner wasnt compatable with it.
