How do you change your nickname without screwing anything up??? I found out by accident that there is another soup on a different team. I decided to use 5.3 for windows, when I clicked on team stats, it took me to DVF but when I clicked on user stats, it took me to this other soup's team & guess what, soup has been donating under 2 different team numbers only this soup hasn't entered any other team number than DVF. So guess where I know of one work unit's points has went for sure. I don't care about points for me because I am doing this for I believe a good cause but I am also trying to help the team out. I am starting to wonder about all the other stuff that's went wrong & if this is really worth the hassle. This is also probably why my stats generator is so screwed up because it ain't me.
Edit: I just checked & noticed that the points have been put over to the right team. My ? about changing nick still stands, I don't want anymore screw ups.Last edited by soup; 25 Aug 2006, 02:46 PM.

@ soup to change your nick you could run the -config flag like gol stated a page or two back.
I haven't experimented with 5.03 yet but in 5.04 I simply edit/delete the client.cfg file then restart the client. you may be able to do the same with 5.03.
I think as long as your using the team #51205 I think you'll be the only soup that counts. The future doesn't just happen its created through our actions or inactions~ today!

5.03 is great, if you put it to start at startup, you can do everything by right clicking the icon in your system tray. No need for anything else. You can configure, check team stats etc. IMHO it is far more user friendly than 5.04 as it is now. With it you don't need EM11 either because it has it's own display.

I just did a little unscientific burning test & posted the results in the blank media & burning, Plextor & PlexTools thread. Folding@Home on & off. If you read it you will find out there is no big difference but there is a difference. I just got a beaut as well 33 seconds a frame & 5000 of them.

Looking at the running projects page they must be pushing the gromacs
The PIII box is still chugging along at about 2hrs and 50 minutes per step on the 2409 WU. And when that one is done the PIII box is gonna say woooo, that was a helluva rideNot registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums
