your other temps will tell if the case is holding the heat in

did you bump the core voltage?

I still have the case side off...maybe I shoulda used artic silver, I used the stuff that came with the Thermaltake HSF

you might want to work on the airflow inside the case and around the tower

how come the vid card is heating up so much?

                Room temp 75F
little warm for folding at home

@Chewy - maybe I should mentioned it's been crunching WUs with F@H for about 36 hours at 100% CPU load. The 3 hours I mention was when I jacked it up a couple MHz to 23% OC after about a 1 minute shutdown.I'll post the temps again in about 10 minutes that will be a half hour after reboot, no load just idling.

I think I would lower the cpu load from FH

I'll be down in the basement where it will be cooler. Right now it's in the family room.

The vid card is a $41 MSI 64MB on board 256MB card, maybe that why it's getting hot, just a HS no fan. I have a couple 80MM fans I can thow in the case too.

Nah it would be on me

Ya can lead a horse to water remember ...

What would be the max temp you would go to? It seemed to max out mid 40's or so after a day and a half straight F@H @100% CPU usage.

you are probably safe, but I would fix the airflow before warm weather hits, your ac konks out one day and you come home to a fried cpu after folding

yeah my house is the opposite, hot in the winter and cold in the summer. I'm about to move it to the basement in a coupla days. I got the mobo in the old Gateway box. I just got 2 new cases, the Ultra case FAR of $40, a bigger case and an Antec with a 350 watt PSU and a 120mm fan for $9.99 AR. I'll see how things go and keep an eye on it.

By the way the apple taste good...THANKS
