Just for grins I would check around the Core Temp site or even contact the author. He seems very big into AMD CPUs and all their quirks, sensor inaccuracies etc..

Nice tip Miles

I just have the Phenom. It only gives one temp reading for the shootin' match. Only shows load for each core not temp. Guess they did something about it in II.Comment

I believe that it is the stock fan and heat sink that AMD includes with the CPU. Another good place to check out for CPU heat sinks is Thermaltake. They have a close out and clearance and over stock area on their web site, for very good prices. I picked up a TR2-RX 850 watt power supply for $99.99 it was over stock sale. It also is the power supply that has the cable management, where you can choose what wire connections that you need.Last edited by doctorhardware; 23 May 2010, 10:24 AM.Star Baby Girl, Born March,1997 Died June 30th 2007 6:35 PM.Comment

BTW, I forgot to say that it is a very nice case. One thing, have you entered the bios and check the temperature there. It sure sounds like it could be a temperature probe issue. I think that the probe resistance is high causing the temperature to be reported high, when it should be around 50 degrees. This is my humble opinion.Star Baby Girl, Born March,1997 Died June 30th 2007 6:35 PM.Comment
