I have had it pause once while burning too. What had happened was that I was multitasking at the time. It is best to run lean and mean while burning so the CPU only has to concentrate on ImgBurn instead of multiple items.
Click on the two links beside Windows XP in my signature. They explain lean and mean.
BTW: The disc score was 98. The stop and start of the burn did not affect my playback at all.Gary D

i had nothing else running at the time, pirates came out good, but miami vice, stopped at 855, and didnt start up again, also, when i tried to burn either one of them again, it says, can not write medium, incompatible formatComment

how do i get an img log to post it here, im burning at 4x and it just froze again at 83%, and the burner gets squeaky soundingComment
-
It's not freezing, it's waiting for your OS / drive to respond to the commands.
When they begin to reply / accept them again the % complete will once again start to increase.
If your drive is making weird noises, I suggest you look into that as the root cause of your problems!
To access the logs, either copy + paste from the log window, or click the 'Help' menu and select 'ImgBurn Logs'. There should be a file in that folder.Comment

Check your IDE cables. Or the drive may be up the spout - they aren't known as the best anyway.
