First, the disclaimer. I am completely computer inept. I refer to things as do-hickeys and thingamabobs. My apologies ahead of time.
I started using DVDShrink and ImgBurn last week to backup copies of DVDs. So far it has been working absolutely fine, except for RockyII (but that's the only "popular" title I've tried, I'm guessing "The lives of sea cucumbers" doesn't have the same copy protection). My only problem is that it takes about 4-7 hours to burn a DVD. It goes through one process, my external burner spits it out, then sucks it right back in and seems to start over. Is this normal? Is there anyway to speed it up? It happens on my laptop, which is pretty fast, and my desktop which is also pretty fast and has next to nothing (as far as programs and stuff) on it and tons of free disc space.
I have other questions, but I'll post those in the proper sections.
Thanks.
