Although I agree Dan's way is the better way to go, I just wanted to clear something up on Nero. StartSmart, make sure it is on Dvd, copy a Dvd, there should be a box that says Quick Copy, if you check it, it will cof from one drive to the other, no writing image first. Also in Nero Burning ROM.
direct copy from drive two to drive one??

Dan - thank you! I don't know how much time I saved, it took about 8 min. But it was nice to be able to walk away and not have to worry that it would be waiting for me to put in the blank, it was already there. Oh, why wouldn't this be reliable?? Like, if I multi-task while doing it? I guess I don't see the problem in running both drives. My PC should be able to handle it, or I've wasted a lot of money...

i missed page 2.
soup - I'm using Nero 7 and my screen doesn't look like that. So, I didn't believe you. But then I went looking and sure enought there is a quick copy option inside the burning rom. Thank you! If I ever can't use ImgBurn at least I have a backup method.

re: Dan
You can do it with ImgBurn.
Select Build Mode, choose the drive with backup as source and other drive with blank DVD as destination.
This may not be as reliable though as you are working 2 drives at once. I prefer to take the extra 6 minutes and read ISO to HDD, write ISO to disk.
EDIT Just tried one to show you a log....Comment

re: Chewy
Thanks Chewy, for some reason I misunderstood Dan and thought that there was some way to copy from D: to E: drives. I tried it earlier and ended up with a D: that would show up in the drop down box. I couldn't get rid of the D:. Each time I would shutdown ImgBurn and then go back into the Build mode it the source it would still list the D:. I couldn't get rid of it no matter how I tried. So I uninstalled, and then reinstalled. Now it don't list it anymore. I didn't see a way to get it done that way. So your reply confirms that. THANK YOU!Comment

Insert blank DVD in one drive, backup in other drive. Navigate to the video_ts folder on the backup disk using build mode and burn.
