If that doesn't work then I will shoot myself
I recommend you go for the Radeon 9700 Pro instead. It is considerably cheaper, still amongst the fastest chipset currently (second to the newer Radeon 9800 Pro, of course) and most importantly has the best price/performance ratio.

As t3ch put it, the GeforceFX 5600 does not compete at the same level as the high-end Radeon 9700. It is of (much) lower performance and hence the lower price.
Another thing is that, few games require 128MB for caching, let alone 256MB. Hence the argument for the need of 256MB is moot.
The way I see it, the Radeon 9700 provides the best value for money right now. The Geforce FX series do not.
wait.... you call spending half a thousand dollars on a graphics card saving money compared to a $169 dollar graphics card that is a bit better (0.5 points for the FX 5800)???
those charts are for FPS only, not overall. I believe it that the ATI can pump out a gajillion GB/s but that is it. I would like to see a comparison of maybe quality and statistics and user reviews...
The Radeon 9700 is considerably better and faster than the Geforce 5600FX.
My point is, you were comparing prices of the two cards as if they were of the same standard and speed, and using a totally irrelevant argument:
"I mean, 256MB for $169 and 128MB for $325 hmmm....."
If SKD_Tech is indeed looking for high fps, while maintaining a reasonable budget, the Radeon 9700 delivers the performance that many frame-rate minded gamers seek. The Geforce FX 5600 will not. That is my point.
And besides, is there such a thing called Geforce FX AIW? Don't think I ever heard of one ...
Edit:
wait.... you call spending half a thousand dollars on a graphics card saving money compared to a $169 dollar graphics card that is a bit better (0.5 points for the FX 5800)???
The $169 price quote is of the Geforce FX 5600, NOT the FX 5800. Please do not be mistaken. The FX 5800 would be priced more or less the same with the Radeon 9800.
Attached is a benchmark comparison between the Radeon 9700, Radeon 9800 and GeforceFX 5800. I took this from a local magazine, Atomic. The chart speaks for themselves.
The price for the GeforceFX 5800 is standard to me. Your quote for the Radeon 9800 is way too expensive. Check out the Australian stores below and you will see it: AusPC Market
Show me an instance where an ATI Radeon 9800 card is larger than a GeforceFX 5800. I am not an active player in this game, but I am positive that it will be hard to locate one.
Jeez enchanter, I wanted to beat up on chickeneater some, but you about polished him off
A few things. On my last post, I was merely demonstrating that your comparisons were completely unrelated. Also, I hate to brake it to you, but ram != card performance.
As enchanter said, you're way overpricing.
And uh... yeah... go ATi...
