to mps:
the quoting of the movie is already wrong in the very first line.
here is an excerpt of the subtitles I have made for the LOTR
the fellowship of he ring and as I remember my sindarin grammar well it must be:
00:03:53,600 --> 00:03:55,600
Tolo dan na ngalad.
(Come back to the light!)
and not :Tolo dan nan galad
so it can not be trusted!!
to oriphus:
that transcription is very incomplete!!!Comment

'na ngalad' vs. 'nan galad'? common...
look at the context of this sentence in the scene. gandalf wants them to get the f**k outta there, so saying "flee" is perfect for that purpose. "fly" could refer to running away, but since they dont have wings, then whats the point? using poetic language? if someone hangs above an abyss with a fiery monster going after him, this is definitely not time for damn poetic language - no matter how wise a man you are and no matter the fantasy character of the whole thing.
in a word - i vote for "flee". wanna make a poll?Comment

To Shiny - It probably is, but who really cares anyway?? Thats why i didnt read the transcript, just posted it!! I have better things to do than search for discrepincies with subtitle/transcripts of LOTR. Havent you?http://www.dvd-backup.tkComment
