        lol

take the hdd to the place you got it

they then repair it/send it back to the manufacturer

when the shops warrenty expires - you then send the hdd to the manufacturer this time..

            Disk Problem

            Hello Techo,

I remember being young and just getting started. Good luck! I have a disk problem, if you have the knowhow to solve it we should talk.

Here is the problem so far:
            <o>> </o>>
            My drive’s specifications are:<o>></o>>
            WD1200 Caviar series<o>></o>>
            40 pin E-IDE Hard Drive <o>></o>>
            MDL: WD1200JB-32EVA0 <o>></o>>
            DATE: 13 SEP 2003 <o>></o>>
            DCM: HSBACVJAH <o>></o>>
            <o>> </o>>
            Circuit board Number: <o>></o>>
            2061-001179-000 DBD1 XW 1K15 9XUS 1 0001100 4101 <o>></o>>
            <o>> </o>>
I had one disk recovery company look at my drive and they diagnosed it as: “Critical Corruption of the factory Defect List and Translation Table.” They also stated that the mechanics; electrical; and electronics was all working. Only the logical problem mentioned above was an issue. <o>></o>>
            <o>> </o>>
However, they were unable to help with “Corruption of the factory Defect List” and sent the drive back to me.<o>></o>>
            <o>> </o>>
If you are able to help with such a problem then let's talk.
