seriously though, i prefer the classic columbo's. sunday morning mysteries were the best on NBC. columbo, bancek, McMillan and wife, McCleod....those were the days. i wish NBC would get off their ass and make another one. last i heard it was a "definite possibility".

although this new one with paul reiser may interest me....

I jsut watched it and it was ok. He looked really old in it now as it was made in 2002. It is better to remember him as Columbo. Columbo in on a almost a daily basis at the moment on TV.

now i'm jealous. while i have them all anyway, i somtimes am lazy to put in the disc, and since they are made for tv anyway, it would be nice to see them on the air. been a couple years since A&E stopped showing it. now they show all these bloody makeover shows....enough to make me sick

BTW people anyone ever see the man without a face (1993) ? mel gibson stars and directed it. one of the best movies i've seen in quite some time. can't go wrong with this one. chewy might call it a "sleeper"

ps ... BIRTH starring Nicole Kidman was so bad I ended up laughing as I struggled for the remote ... several times. Complete waste of a DVD.

Also ... Her Alibi starring Paulina and Tom Selick was so bad it was funny.

i think that's largely due to it not being on dvd yet (most here don't go to the theatre as far as i've seen)
