a long time had one forum where bands created something like a championship of mp3.unknow bands and i "re-author" the songs with effects.(rock,hard rock and seamless).

back in '87 until about 91 or so (when I was in high school) I liked rap..groups line NWA and Public Enemy were my favorites altho I really liked De La Soul and Digital Underground, where Tupac got his start from,....hmmm Digital Underground....kinda like the forums

I'm not too big into what I call the new age of rap, though I too think Eminem has a good beat. He takes on rap at a different angle I think, though it's hard for me to say how I mean. The old school stuff (I'm talking old school rap/funk/whatnot from the 80's) is pretty cool too. But I'm also into The Floyd (aka Pink Floyd) both with Syd and without for obvious reasons... both very different!

Yeah, Eminem is unique... he is also the only "white" rapper out there (that is not a local artist). Eminem is in the top 10 artists in Rhapsody too!

The Beastie Boys are too cool for school. I was never old enough to get into their gigs. One of the cool things about them is they have aged well, and you always can tell youre about to hear a beasties song after the first few notes. I didnt realise there were so many Floyd fans here. I am too, i never get bored of "The wall" live album, or "Dark Side of the Moon", or any of theirs for that matter. It was spectacular to see them reunited for Live8. They showed the current 5 minute wonders how to really perform for an audience.
