By drf No I haven't seen it. The way you talk... and you always mention it... just sounds "suspicious"

Yeah, I know. I am not using it, and never will. Just curious because you have mentioned it on more than one occasion. Never mind that whole thing then.CYA Later:

It is a lot easier to explain something when you are communicating face to face.It is a lot tougher through this medium I find because you mean it a certain way but you don't know if the other person is taking it that way.If we all remember our main goal here is to help when we can and if we can have some fun along the way that's gravy.

I used to listen to a lot of rap back in the day, Beastie Boys and The sugar Hill gang to name two, but these days it is all derivative and repetative im afraid. The sooner marshall retires the better IMHO. Listening to a bit of Floyd at the moment, A saucerful of secrets from 68 if I remeber correctly. Of course I wasnt born then but I really got into Floyd when the Wall was released and been a big fan ever since. I do like the Foo Fighters a lot these days, they just get better and better. Mind you in the eighties I was a bit of a new romantic, Visage, Ultravox and kraftwerk were what I was listening to. These days my tastes have mellowed a lot.
The best rap around comes from these guys: http://www.youknowsit.co.uk/ Probably not suitable for under 18's but still very, very funny as all rap should be.Jack

It's funny I was never a Nirvana fan until I heard the Foo Fighters, now i'm into their stuff big time. The first album I bought was MTV Unplugged in New York, excellent album.
Deree, There's no harm in starting 'em young when it comes to good music, but who is Kelly Clarson? Never heard of her, it's not country and western is it??!!!
Edit: Kelly is a she I take it?Jack

I almost forgot... I love the didj, as does my wife (bonus there... buwahahaha) but the dog goes nuts! I'm afraid to ask the neighbours <shudder>! I've only got a couple of CD's with didj music, and now that I've gotten the circular breathing down I've now got to work on the animal calls.

I have to say that I am partial to some of the blues bands also such as Stevie Ray Vaughan,BB King, Eric Clapton,Bonnie Raitt these guys are all I listen to as of now but I am looking to expand my collection and knowledge of blues artists. What got me listening to blues was seeing B.B.King live when he was here in town a year or two agoLast edited by BR7; 13 Jan 2006, 04:46 PM.Comment

She was one of those wonderfull 'winners' of the American Idol program.. just horrible...well horrible is too nice a word I think..Which is why I encourge my step daughter to listen to good music..now I just have to get her mother away from Madonna and all will be good in the world!sigpic
