I prefer the XP CD because I am less likely to cause permanent damage.

Yeah but that PC is so old it's not a DVD drive -_-'

It has a nice "boot from CD" option when you insert a CD... don't think there is a boot menu like newer PCs have (for me if you press F8 when the Dell screen shows up there are locations to boot from)
