Well 2 days ago the gas prices had dropped to a Low $2.89 per gal. Now witht he Holiday weekend it has jumped to $3.23 per gal. and as high as $3.69 per gal by my dads house. Insane I tell ya.

Petrol in the UK near me is now £4.70/$8.70 per gallon. It is even more in places like London.Comment

That is more then a lot of people here make. Most jobs around here now in this recession if about 7 to $9.00 per hour. Minimum wage in this state is $5.75 per hour.Originally Posted by nwg

Last week it was $1.05 / liter Canadian. A big business advisor issued a warning that gas prices could reach $1.30 / liter this summer because of "increased demand". Both of these prices are a far cry from 75 cents last summer.

Oh I remember when I got my first car: Gas was about $1.00 per gal $16.00 - $18.00 to fill the tank and that was also when gas was real gas. Now we have this reforumulated crap that is bad for engines and gets less miles to the gal. Not all of out states are forrced to use this crap gas but here we have no choice. Now $16.00 gives ya about a 1/4 of a tank.
Just filled up my truck last night it was a tad over $59.00 the sad part is I will have to fill my tank yet again for a week is up.Comment

I think you have to register with an e-mail address but you can then access cheapest fuel prices for the UK. I am happy to report that you don't get spam mail either. I have my options set to be mailed twice a week with cheapest fuel prices in my area for home and work. I am currently saving 5p a litre on Diesel by using this free service......

Our prices in Central IL down to $2.65 today, can't believe it didn't go up yet, probably tomorrow. Quite suprising no raise around Memorial Day weekend!

Those are priceless looie!!! Today where I live gas was $1.19/Litre..I use public transporation to and from work cause I work really early in the morning and the Mrs and I only have the one car so we save some that way but still to fill up the car is close to $50 (1997 Sable)sigpic
