I really enjoy this forum and thought it might be interesting to know what some of the people here do or have as interests. I am an Electronic/Machnists have a small machine shop at my house. I am semi-retired due to a spinal cord injry. I make recumbent bikes and trikes as a hobby and tinker with cars too. I make my own speakers and dabble with Electrostatic speakers sometimes. Married with child. Just curious.
Who are we?

I am a CD/DVD Replication Operator. Almost everything replicated is computer software. We basically replicate, test and maintain the moulding machines, and all the other fun stuff that comes with it!
Now that summer is on the way, I like fishing, boating SCUBA diving, and like most of us Canucks drink lots of beer!
In the winter I am mostly consumed by this computer, either learning great things on this site or all the endless knowledge out there on the web.
Cheers, Dan.

Nope, but the dude I bought my house from did...and I could kick him square in the nuts everytime I go out into my yard...LOL
I've got way too much to mulch, landscape, trim, prune and mow around...such a pain in my arse.
I am a conductor, locomotive engineer and yardmaster for a class A railroad in South Carolina. I'm married to a lovely redhead, we have a 2 year old son and 2 jet black cats.

I worked for a couple of years in landscaping, mostly mowing lawns, great job, really enjoyed it, working out doors. I also worked as a roofer, (mostly lugging shingles and banging nails), house painter, dishwasher, bus boy, gas station attendant, used car salesman (failed miserably, but it sure helped me appreciate the film "Suckers"), wedding band musician (guitarist, fired for not getting the solos to sound like the records), high school teacher, freelance writer, office worker (just like in "Office Space"), and a university professor, which I've been doing for about 10 years now, though I'm considering moving on, feeling like getting back to the greenery and trying my hand at farming.Comment

First to DFSSUPERCENTER: I don't envy you being in school. When I was in school they thought kids were idiots and it was reflected in the way we were taught. It was easy. Somehow they found out that kids are smart and loaded you guys up to the hilt. I think you guys graduate with what took us 4 years of college to attain. To Blutach: I have owned many cats and one day (when I signed up for this forum) all three of my cats took a dump after each other within 15 minutes. I thought to myself, I've got "Toomanycats!", What is your handle based on? Same question for DFS.Comment
