If you have any poo....throw it now

Hughes actually said in the interview that the armbar was more threatening than the triangle. Although I can't really take Hughes' word on whether the choke was deep enough ( read:Carlos Newton )I can't believe that he escaped it.
And after watching the fight again ( thanks Mikey ) I can see how Penn was so gassed. Matt is a monster and I'm sure it took a few ounces of strength to constrict and hold him there.

You are very welcome, I saw it on pay-per-view...never thought I'd see Silva get dominated like that.

He looked awfully over-aggressive and sloppy. Cro Cop was dead calm the entire time.....kinda freaks me out a little LOL

Cro-Cop claimed that if he didn't win he was going to retire. He's tired of playing second fiddle. If he can't win the title against his next match against Fedor, he will quit....he's been so close so many times that he has become discouraged and it showed against Silva, he won't be playing cautiously and must be aggressive to win the title.

I haven't ever watched Fedor fight. I have grown up with UFC. I only know a handful of fighters from other organizations. But I really like Pride so far. I have found a few vids....I like!!!

IMHO Pride is a step above UFC, the fighters are more diverse yet seem to be more specialized (if that makes any sense).

Here is a Fedor highlight reel.

Pride FC is definitely fun to watch! I was also strictly UFC from the beginning and then got to see some Pride FC videos and am hooked on them as well.

MMA as a whole has me in a rear naked choke. LOL

It used to be taboo to like it, but it's mainstream and it's "okay" to enjoy it now.

I used to be a huge boxing fan....rarely missed a fight, but after getting into MMA I can hardly watch boxing anymore. I like a good title match with two boxers who both deserve to be there and some up and comers, but overall boxing is just plain boring anymore. MMA is where it's at.

The Boxing world must hate the way MMA has taken most of their fans away.. MMA is now more popular then boxing has been in years...so we are all fans of MMA, how about pro wrestling..while not real like UFC Pride FC etc it still has its merits..any fans except me?

I think ufc and pride fighters all have the same skills you have the bangers you have the graplers, then some with a lil mix but in pride they have more they have to defend against. But i prefer the talent in the ufc
