The girls were quick and nimble...much better than watching female boxing.

Ron Waterman was on the card I think (went to bed early for lack of excitement) and the only other familiar face was Chael Sonnen...another boring fight. Bell rings...Sonnes takes down opponent immediately and keeps him there for five minutes...repeat 3X. ZZZzzzz

What did you guys think about Forrest Griffen vs Keith Jardine? I was shocked my jaw hit the floor! and damn was Forrest pissed that he lost!

I was more shocked that Jardine won than Griffin lost...if that makes sense.

I have never really been impressed Griffin, his heart yes, but there is something about him that screams mediocrity to me. I think he is destined to be middle of the pack.

Gabriel Gonzaga was rumoured to fight Sylvia when Vera was pulled off his title shot due to only having one fight left on his contract.....but now he is pushed off in favour of Couture.

Last nite UFC welcomed two newcomers to their ranks, Mirko Cro Cop and Quintin Jackson...Joe Rogan stated that the UFC has been looking forward to this for a very long time. I don't think that the two opponents who had to fight them were looking forward if so much. LOL Look out Tim Silvia and Chuck Liddell.

Mirko looked good and dominated. Jackson was obviously a bundle of nerves and even stated so in the post fight interview, the nerves seemed to be gone in the second round, but he was very stiff through the first round. These were the two fights that I wanted to see out of all of the ones on the fight card. Anderson Silva's fight was OK, but for me the highlight was the arrival of some of PrideFC's highly respected fighters.

CroCop looked dominating as usual, Sanchez looked a little slow when throwing the punches, don't know how he was 8-0. Love to see CroCop versus Silvia.

I have seen a few of Sanchez previous fights and he fights nothing like he did last night. Mind you he was still completely outclassed with Filipovic, but it looked like he didn't know what else to do but try for a one punch KO and run away.
