hey guys,
i recently ripped Blade2 and encoded it.......unlike most of the DVD's ive ripped, its not very compressible. It came out a rather poor picture quality in comparison to the other movies i've ripped, and the fact that its almost 2 hours long doesnt help. i was wondering if the scene change threshold option in divx 5.0.2 would at all be able to help with my quality problem, or if u can suggest anything else that mite
for reference the settings i used were:
max bitrate i could (715kbps)
2 pass - second pass
All mpeg 4 tools on
720*576
max keyframe itnerval 300
scene change threshold 45%
performance/quality slowest
