Stripped Unwanted Audios from DVD, still got problems

Logical remapping .. need a bit more details

Hi Spyhawk.

Task 1 is now done.

Task 2 (& 3), I don't get it!

For Task 2, I assume go to left panel of PGCEDIT & highlight [but not click] on:
VTSM 1, LU 1 (EN), 15 (0:34) 6b

On the right panel I see the headers "Pre", "Post" & "Cell Commands". Some commands are there at the moment for each header.

For Task 3, I assume go to left panel of PGCEDIT & highlight [but not click] on:
VTSM 1, LU 1 (EN), 16 (0:00) 2b

On the right panel I see the headers "Pre", "Post" & "Cell Commands". NO commands are there at the moment for each header.

So can you go into a bit MORE details as to how to the fixing (e.g. RIGHT-CLICK on ..., Edit Command ..., etc).

I'll try to do Task 4 & 5 after I hear from you.

He means you need to use PgcEdit's menu button editor. This is explained in the help file.

But:

Task 2
1. Position on VTSM 1, 14 (single click on it)
2. Press Ctrl-M.
3. Now click on the button labelled 4.
4. Now click on the command (about 75% down) - it says SetSTN Audio Stream 4; Link PGCN 11.
5. Change the 4 to a 2.
6. OK.

Task 3
Next position on VTSM 1, 15 and do the same (except change the 3 in button 1 to a 1).

Tasks 4 and 5 can be done, too. They are not sequential or dependant on tasks 2 and 3.

Save your DVD and test.

Yeah .. Spyhawk's & Blutach's tips work. WICKED!

I still would like an explanation for the screenshot I posted previously called "PGCEDIT_VTST1_MainMovie.JPG"

If you look at the circle no3, After Chapter 13 everything looks DODGY!

In VOBBLANKER, it claims there are 22 chapters in the movie when it should only be 20!

What does it mean?

PLEASE do not worry about this. As you can see, there are 22 cells, 21 chapters but the last chapter is just a tiny cell (just 15 frames, or 1/2 second) - it's there to enable you to fast forward thru the credits to the end by pressing NEXT on the remote.

You're probably wrong. Read the message again: VobBlanker claims probably that there are 22 cells, not chapters. A chapter can include several cells, so VB is correct.

And blutack is right. The last chapter is there for technical reasons, but it's only a dummy chapter, certainly not present in the chapter menu of the DVD, but that doesn't mean that this chapter doesn't exist. Technically, there are 21 chapters, although the user can "see" only the 20 first ones.

BTW, cell 14 is the layer break, but is not a chapter. This is why there are 22 cells: 21 chapters, plus the layer break cell.

Similar problem, different DVD [The Omen 2006]

Hi

I'm trying to audio strip THE OMEN 2006.

Original audio streams line up looks like this:
-English 5.1
-Portugeuse
-Spanish
-Commentary

I want to keep English 5.1 & Commentary.

This time, I did the stream stripping with DVDSHRINK instead of VOBBLANKER.

The optional commentary link for main movie can be found Special Features & Languages menus.

The problem now is that the optional commentary link works in Languages Menu but not in Special Features menu.

In POWERDVD, I can still change from English 5.1 to Commentary by right-click etc.

Haven't burnt to disc yet .. I want to fix the mess first!

I think I've uploaded the IFOs above.

As for Menushrink, it says total menu size 4.5MB & saving 0MB. Does this mean it can't be shrunk anymore?

So how do I extract this 4.5GB total for zipping & uploading?

OMEN 2006 VOBs

Hi

I figured out how to ZIP the VOBs.

My problem now is that it weighs 4.5MB & the forum's upload limit is 1MB.

Can't join RAPIDSHARE (I hate them anyway!) as their DRIVE are FULL UP.

What's the back-up plan, guys?

Yes, it can't, unless you have kept the audio. Upload it to a filesharing service like verizon or rapidshare.

See post 27. It's got the VOBs.

As mentioned in Post 24, the menus can be shrunk than it already is. The menus were originally STILL (non-motion/non-animated) & contains no audio.
