Nero and img burn.

I think im on track now, i have the newest firmware for the nec that allows bitsetting correct? 1.Y4

under options nero choose recorder, all my nec burners automatically burn
+r's as dvd-rom everytime. I love it, tested, they play on everything,
crap media will still screw up.

Ok now the next question ,what happens when i decide to use the px 740 i dont want to change any thing on that one yet. what im asking is will it do anything to that one, you follow me?

with nero you have to specify with each drive, and the drive that will be crossflashed sooner or later probably does it out of the box. To check
open cdspeed with a burned disk in the plex and go to disk info screen.
It shows booktype.

I asked dee 2 days ago about the change log strategy tweaks?
She answered!

Usually, but not always this involves increasing or decreasing the laser power for given strategies within a strategy group.

For an 8X strategy group for example. There will usually be a strategy for 2x/2.4x, 4x, 6x, and 8x. And these are used at different stages as the disc is burned. Perhaps the 6x section requires some improvement, so the 6x strategy may have its laser power changed in an attempt to improve burn quality.

too busy repairing my library, the nec 3550 was my main workhorse, scanning, ripping,
burning with a little help from it's friends. It did about 25 hours in 5 days.

And thanks for getting me up to date on that bitsetting i allways wondered about that but never took the time to figure it out . Did a test with dvdd it all so has a setting for that will check tomorrow if it worked
