sonic, it should and dvdinfopro does, but the ad version(free) is real quirky.
I hosed several scans while doing light multitasking.

Take a look at these Philips -R 16x made in Taiwan. Mediacode is CMC MAG AM3. I bought them at nierle.com, but when I did the order they was marked as MCC03RG20. When I received the discs I discovered that they send me a different media. Too bad I opened the box too late to RMA

Burnings were done with benq 1640 (@12x) and with liteon 1693 (@16x).

8K pif with a 1 ecc interval is BAD!

bet the 1693 can do one at 8x and hit low 80's?

Across the border (5 hours away and 340KM), same everything is $35.00 + $2.00 taxes= $37.00 US or $40.00 CAN. The last time down I picked up 9 spindles and gave 3 to my brother-in-law. This alone paid for the trip with the money saved. I am going down again in November and my co-workers are already placing their orders.

I think even opened if you had all the discs you should be able to get your money back, just tell them that they were not the advertised item.

best buy here in the states has verbatim dl on sale for 39.99 a 20 spindle. By the time i got there, they were sold out, but after talking to the sale associate, he ordered them online and i paid for them to have them shipped to my house, $43.31 with tax. He was telling me about how many people come in looking for japanese media, and problems he was having backing up his movies. I hooked him up with the info about media quality, to PSL2 Plugin, and the forums here, so hopefully we have a new member coming on board.

Here is a copy of a scan on 3rd to 4th being really bad. won't even do a scan disc after a bout 45 mins it had 4 red and two yellows in the fourth line down, I aborted it.
here is one I tried to do a benchmark test and it gave me a message no blank disc, has anyone ran across this?

Pretty sure that no one will argue about that disk, it's a coaster, you might find a player tp play it, be a very good one. Your burner must hate that media.
