Disk Quality Scan Thread

I would be most interested in the higher speed obtained from a data disk and the graph of the of burnspeed vs quality

of course it's learning to burn the media as it goes for the first few disks

I knew what you meant Here is the cmc mag burned on Benq at 4x as data disc

BR7 Can you use Nero speed to burn? it would show a little more

it's probably learned the media too well now to show problems but if you ever reflash the drive then this will give clues

I'll creat an iso and do one of my verbs with my benq

Testing Bcic and bad batch of Verbs

that's basically part 1

verbatim 16x dvd+r (last batch office max) burned and scanned with benq
create data disk from iso with cdspeed(title of iso changed, he he)

as you can see the blanks aren't that good, but the speed reaches 15x and quality is still OK, BCIC seems to be ok, just need better dye spread

I added the transfer test as a redundant check on the quality of the burn

Here is one I will do the rest later.I have to go to Best Buy and exchange the Verbs they sent me through UPS the shaft broke in the cake box and the discs were all scratched up and were spread all over in the box

that is what I thought, give it time 50 like TY and Verb

no rush but when you get time and another iso to burn try with a verbatim so we can compare

hopefully better than beavis

I got the same error as I did with CMC Mags.It seems odd that it doesn't do this with the -R discs
