I would have benq on top as master and pioneer as slave, but it really doesn't matter. Copy on the fly will not work good. Just make sure each drive has it's own power cord, not a splitter.

scanning your burns will do that to you

Hi Chewey & the Gang,

After I typed for 5 minutes ... I lost my message so here it goes try #2.

And I hope you folks will forgive me for bunching up my Q's in the same post.

1) I just received 200 TYG02's from SMS. And I checked each 50 spindle and they all have Code "GG007003" ... and they scan Horrible with my QSuite 2.1.
My "tracking Error" graph is jittery as heck and climbs up like you won't believe it. However, it did not cross the pre-assigned threshold. I ran the same scan with my 1640 (BSRB) and my NEW 1655 (BCGB). Guys you should have seen my blood pressure going up!
Q: Is anyone else experiencing this kind of problem with their new TYG02 batches? Is TY finally loosing it & becoming another junk media?

2) Chewey, as suggested I put my new 1655 in 2nd slot. But I need to tell you that I have only DMA Mode5 on my Primary ... my Secondary runs only DMA Mode2!!! Now, I have burned few TYG02 at 8X and I Think (not sure) the 1655 might be burning them a little slower than my 1640 on Primary. About 1 minute or so slower.
Q: Am I right or is it all in my head? Also, with this new info that I have given you should I still leave my 1640 on slot 1 and the new 1655 on 2nd slot?

3) FYI, I scanned few of my new burns with 1655 and they seem
A) 1655 PIEs runs a little higher (40's) compare to 1640 (20's)
B) 1655 PIFs number also higher (3's & 4's) compare to 1640 (1's & 2's)
Q: Anyone esle experiencingthe same thing?
