wonder if you have Any DVD in the back ground when burning, that would cause the verify, play the last 2 or 3 disks that you post I think they are fine ?

Do you think the drive is bad?

I'll kill DVD43 it probably is running, should i just remove that program? seems it does interfere a lot with burns.

Nighttrain, what do mean abt playing the last 2 or 3 discs? The ones I've burned recently do work, seems to work when it wants to.. Thanks again and I'll re-post after I try to burn again

After you remove Dvd43, do a search on your PC for it just in case it left some stuff behind.

the last two or three burn logs that you post likely they are good just because of your dvd43 that make the the verify part say bad but you can put those disks back and play I think they are good

That log looks about the same or actually worse then the log posted over 3 months ago. (system resources at 60%, drivers??)

You need to take care of those issues.

Chewy's hunch may have been bang on about the burner going belly up.

I would certainly give Imgburn a try after using the filter tool and rebooting

I see that ImgBurn was used back in January as well.

Several logs with all kinds of errors. Seems the most recent log was verification error, not burn error??

verify can be hosed by anydvd or dvd43 so it really doesn't mean the burner is bad

Yeah, it could be just fine. Maybe something disrupting it during verify?? And those burns might be just fine.

Thanks for the replies. I may have been throwing good dvd's away huh? Maybe I should start checking them first.

I do have a couple of questions. Someone said system resources 60%, drivers? How do I fix that? Also another mention the filter tool, where do I find this? I did remove DVD43 a few months ago and did a search to see if parts were still around, and it found nothing.

                          Thanks again.

You can read about reducing System Resources in the link below.

As for the other issues, go back and read this entire thread from the start. Instructions and links were all provided in detail.

let's backtrack 3 months and do post number 4, or use newest imgburn and post the filter log

I know this is not very user friendly but it's not that hard either
