well I'll tell you I go hkey current user,then software then nero nero8,then toolkit and the only option at all there is drivespeed and my burners are all that's in there and none of them have anything blocked on the right

Soup has passed me up in many ways this last 2 years

The memories in that link, good times & still learning every day. From what I remember of Vista, the paths are still there, you have to search through HKEY Current User & also HKEY Local Machine for anything like Nero or Ahead. Paint should be under Accessories in all programs. Is this path there?

A shot in the dark here, but do you have the CDSpeed exe in Nero Toolkit folder, in Program files?

Okay we are going to take a step back & do this one step at a time. There's no rush, as far as I know nobody is going anywhere. First thing we do is get you set up to post pics. Use the search function in your Vista 32 bit. All files & folders / type in Paint.exe, once you find it, right click on it & in the drop down you should see Send to, another drop down, you should see Desktop Create Shortcut. When you have done that post back. A regular Vista user will have to help me out here & say if this is the right or wrong way in Vista.

Edit: okay that search is for XP, totally useless in Vista, sorry. Go in through Help & Support & use search in there, MSPaint.exe or Paint.exe should still show up.

I didn't change any commas in registry though,I deleted Samsung and the comma directly behind it and that's all
