"I now have five forums that have the same look and software"
Is that a indication that you are a forum ho?

        @ Alien Bay -

@ admin - Forum looks fantastic!! Its going to take me alittle while to get used to. I have one request/question though. Is there any way to enable the "Quick Reply" button by default, like it used to be?

              Edit Avatar

I see no way of changing Avatars. Just 2 options there, but no way that I can see to 'browse' for a new avatar.

                help

I changed my 'appearance' to a selection ..Windows Classic or something like that.
Now, I've lost the New Posts at the Top (see arrow) and I've also lost the way to go back and re-change my desktop 'appearance'.

EDIT Here. I did figure out how to get back from the Windows classic. But I think the New Posts is definitely missing.

Nice upgrade so quick after us displaced DVD D forum members showed up

Think I got the signature problem I was having fixed (Shall find out this post) Each post the sig would be different.

Still have not figured out how to set the av after I removed my old one

@ admin: Something is not right with the 'avatars' - you can kill the current one - but no way you can upload a new one.

Tried in the mod control panel - it only states - 'The uploaded image is too large. This user's permissions limits him/her to maximum dimensions of -1 by -1.'.

And this is the same avatar as before the forum update.

                          How to do: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...ghlight=avatar

I seem to remember something like that now. I've implemented something similar, but it's not exactly the same.

You mean without having to click on the "quick" button? The new forum software supports threaded posts (check out the "display mode" options), where you can reply to one post within a thread like on a message board. This is the reason the quick reply button has to be clicked on first by default. I have disabled this feature so that you can quick reply straight away, but if you want the threaded effect, you'll still have to click on the "quick" button for each individual post before using the quick reply box.

I've fixed it (avatars was disabled by default for registered users).

In your screenshot, the "New Posts" link is under the "Quick Links" drop down menu (when you click on the "Start Button").

It's working for a registered users (I tested it with a test account) - I think it was disabled for moderators, but I've enabled it. There is also a separate profile picture that users can upload, I'm not sure what that's for.
