Re-direct to Lycos?

I just checked my signature. I had posted "MY DVD Collection linked to dvdloc8 and noticed that the link took me to the log-on screen not my DVD list. I had checked the link about an hour ago. Everthing was OK. Is this related to this current problem?
I already deleted the signature link.

Did you delete your all your cookies CJ? In which case, the ogin screen would appear. Login and tick remember me (or whatever) and you should be OK.

Shouldn't all of this been in community announcements? Maybe a Category called "Warning" or something should be created in the event of some ***hole visitng his or her problems on this group in the future? I use History Kill and wipe out traces of everywhere I visit everytime I get off the internet, just to play it safe. You guys were really on top of this, my hats off to you!!

I got out of here for 24hrs, till the smoke cleared, I have read that I should change my password so I did, also that I should move my cookie security settings up higher, how high?

and will that higher setting still be good here? and other responsible websights?
Is there anything else I need to know?

You should make a regular habit of changing your passwords.

Your information went to another web site. I would never change back because the culprit could have copied the info but left the original on the other site. He could log in as you and get you suspended or worse, use your name to drop another bomb!!

It is better to be over cautious on issues like this than take a chance of infecting the web site again.

If you use this name and password on other sites, he could google your name and then log in as you at other sites. Be VERY VERY VERY careful!
