    Adding another HD?

    Do you think it would slower my performance by adding the 4th HD? BB has 500GB Serial ATA for 159.99

    Thanks

    In my opinion there will be no slowing in the performance adding a s-ata HDD to your system. Be sure that your PSU is enough powerful to manage also this drive.

    And with 500 GB available you'll make many people drooling here

        Nightran, anything above 750 watts should be fine. I have 6 HDD'S, 4 burners all runing fine off a antec tru power 850 watt PSU.
        Oils well thats ends well.

              if you have a new good power supply then add the extra drive

              I was joking Kev about using such a big power supply

                  there's no easy way

                  give the specs(printed on side of power supply)
                  how many amps for 12volt, brand name

                  and what's already hooked to it

                            @night,

                            Why not just replace smaller hard drives with larger ones that way you can transpher all data from old one to new bigger one?

                            Just a thought.

                            I did that a while back got rid of the 80 gig for a 160 gig now thinking of making that one my C drive and thinking of buying a bigger one for my second hard drive.

                              Angle : I have 160 for my programs, 320 for avi 500 for avi to mpg then I need one more 500 for iso to burn

                              I could but then I will have to go to all other trouble by transfer the 160 to another one and bios' stuff I dont want to mess up with that

                              Thanks Chewy
