Wrong Audio track for ripped vob files

    The vob files are defanatley better on windvd, but thats because its playing from the dvd. Does it have anything to do with the fact that i didn't resize the movie? This is my first dvd rip I have ever done, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

      if crispness/sharpness is what we are still talking about, the answer must be NO!

      of course i would always suggest to resize a little in order to have a better bits/pixel relation, but the avi will no be LESS sharp/crisp if you do NOT resize!

      it is rather the other way around, that resizing might decrease image cripsness.
      but using sharp bicubic you will always get te best (i.e. sharpest) possible results.

      for a 1cd transcoding i would, however, strongly advise you to use some 640 x XXX.
