You can still get it from GordianKnot's installer. Alternatively, check Doom9's software section and see whether the said encoder is still available for download there.

Well good news and bad news

Firstly thankyou very much for being so kind as to get that missing .dll file for me.I am now able to get nandub to work.....well almost.
If I cud pick at your brains a bit more I wud greatly appreciate it.
When I load my orig .avi file and go to audio menu it states "no audio"...so I change this to .avi audio and full process mode and try to save wav...the response is error message"ACM reported error on audio decompress(b)"
No matter what I try to do with this audio I get same message.I'm not sure if nandub is meant to work this way(i.e showing no audio at first when you load orig avi) or if its just me.

        Thanks once again

          - does your avi contain ogg vorbis for audio?
          (use GSPOT to check)

          - use virtualdub_MOD instead of nandub

What exactly are you trying to achieve with nandub?

I thought that nandub handled vbr audio better than VD which doesnt so I was trying to see if I cud get my movie to work in synch as everytime I try to encode it is out of synch from word go..
I have attatched info on movie...also I have another thread re this

Try the following method for correcting an off-synch audio:

                  1. Load up AVI file in Virtual/nandub
                  2. Set both Video and Audio tabs to Direct Stream Copy
                  3. Under Audio, go to Interleave and input the appropriate value in the 'Delay audio track by x ms' box
                  4. Go to File -> Save as AVI and give a name to the new file

In the case of the audio gradually getting more and more off-synch from the video, add the following step prior to saving the file:
-. Under Video, go to Frame Rate and select "Change so video and audio durations match (you should see a value similar to the original frame rate).

hi i have tried everything and at the moment have kinda given up.I think correcting the audio skew is the only solution but it's trial and error as you know.

Thank you for all your help it was most appreciated(still not too sure about nanadub though...even though I've used VD for ages)

                    Take Care Regards

I hope there was no pun intended.

Anyway, there is always a solution somewhere in the corner, so keep trying.
