    codec properties

I have DivX 5.0.3 installed through the full version of Tsunami Codecs Pack 3.9.9, but how do I get to the codec properties where I can change post-processing options etc?
I use WMP to play movies.

    thanks.

I installed also FFDShow. Which codecs would you recommend me to let it decode instead?

I personally think FFDShow does an excellent job at decoding DivX 3.11 and XviD contents.

I'd like it to decode as many as I can because I'd get all of its tweaking settings available. I noticed it can't decode MPEG1/2 well.. so which codecs would you not recommend me to let it decode?

as for the XviD contents, where do I enable it? because I see many options for XviD contents in it.. should I enable them all?

            THANKS!!

The MPEG1/2 decoding is still experimental and it is stated so in the Configuration itself.

Go to FFDShow Configuration -> Codecs and select XVID. I personally find no difference in ticking the 'Use XviD' box or not.

i would NOT use ffdshow for mpg1/2 playback - i experienced very weird playback when active!

                  thank you guys.

yeah I got some weird playback of MPEG with it too. I will check contents of DivX 3, 4, and 5 plus XviD and try out WMV1; if it runs ok I'm leaving it this way.

Congrats for the great forums you have here.
