Subtitle Problem

Another problem, dammit... it's tough to be a newbie...


Well... I have this Xvid movie wich I already downloaded the proper subtitles for it, BUT... the subtitles refuse to show up in the movie.

Whenever I skip from frame X to Y, I can see the subtitles for a small portion of a second, but then, they disappear again (no matter what player I use - WMP, ZoomPlayer...).



The only application for subtitles I have installed is the DirectVobSub/VobSub, and I had no problem with subtitles until now.

Are there any configuration necessary to force them to show up wich I am not aware of...? what can I do now?

By the way, there are a bunch of options in ffdshow's configuration... anything I should definetly enable/disable? Perhaps there is a guide for this program somewhere?

Definitely enable Post-processing.

I also find resizing the video to 1024x768 (or higher) using the Lanczos algorithm helps to improve video sharpness as well.
