Well we all have seen or heard of the ASF file format.
Well I have a subscription to a site that gives video clips, but they are license protected using wmp licensing (or some kind of bs). the format is asf, and I was hoping to get any information to convert the video to a format that doesn't need to have the license, so that I can save it and not worry about reformating etc (license goes away any time you move to a new comp, or reformat obviously).
1) Any information about ASF and licensing would be awesome.
2) any way to convert through software means directly from one protected ASF to another format
3) to capture the video while I play it and then save it as another format, through a third party software (almost like catpuring all actions that occur in the video card and then save it to a format, while still keeping it digital)
Any ideas guys....I hope this is the right spot for this.
