best audio video joiner kinda

ok i use dvd2avi . it rips the audio to one file and the video to another. but then any program that joins them is always off. im better off if i manually start both of them at the same time by hand. virtual dub is always off by like 2 seconds and is highly noticable. if i can play both at same time why cant a joiner make both at tthe same time. for some sick reason irtual dub is 2 seconds off. what other or actually the best to save time that joins avi and wav perfectly or very close please help. im almost done with divs i almost have it down please help goodbye and hope to hear from someone and thnx for ur time bye from forrest

TMPGEnc is the best one for the job. it converts it to mpeg wich is less compressed but you can then burn a VCD to play it on a DVD player or if you desperatly want DivX just find another program to compress Mpeg to avi.

virtualdub/nandub is the best tool for joing mpeg4/avi with audio.
