    Multi Language AVI

I have a DVD with a choice of 4 language audio and 6 language subtitles. How can I convert it to AVI with atleast 3 language audio and 3 language subtitles. Thanks.

just select streams you need with dvddecoder or smartripper (keep the french audio stream).
rip/process/encode each of them separetely, and mux into a single file.
avi is an old container, prefer the Ogg Media .ogg one or Matroska .mkv
there are plenty of guides in digital-digest or UncasMS site: http://uncas.atlandide.net

Thanks friends. So, I learnt that OGM or Matroska containers can assist me in making a avi file with multiple subtitle stream support, unlike plain old divx.

I have however, one big problem. I want to convert a DVD with multiple Audio tracks andmultiple subtitles to Divx /OGM/Matroska. When the subs are converted to srt format, there is no problem. But, I also want to embed the non latin subtitles (Viz. Chinese, Hindi and Arabic). These, I can extract, only in the native vobsub image format (.idx + .sub), and no software that I know of supports multiple subtitles in this format.

Is there any way in which I can embed subtitle streams in native vobsub format (Or is there a way to convert the non latin subs in srt format)

        TIA.
