Did exactly as you said, but nothing happens if I save wav with Full Processing Mode - the save process begins and ends in a half a second. A Wav will save under Direct Stream Copy.

Should I try it that way?

I don't know why that's not working for you, but don't let it stop you. Download and use VirtualDubMOD (different than standard VirtualDub) instead - and follow the VirtualDubMOD-specific directions I've previously provided...
