got a seperate AGP card and capture card.

my AGP now is ATi Radeon 9600 pro

my capture card is of Snazzi III AV.DV hardware encoding card that have both analog and digital inputs

lot of video cards can do that vivo cards that is like geforce familiy of vivo and radeons aiw's

but what i have is a hardware encoder not a softare encoder. i hav a Ti 4600 vivo in my other pc a software encoder but quality is ok for direct mpeg1/mpeg2 avi's are fine

quality lies in the eye of the beholder........oe somthing like that lol

pls check www.snazzi.com for capturing card specific for adobe premier.

otherthen that for capture / encode i find my hardware encoder snazzi III av.dv best. but if u dont capture frm dv ull find other cards much cheaper.

for 3D effects any good 3dcard would be enough say frm ATi 9200 to 9800, Geforce FX 5200 to .........even the older Ti's will be great.
