## If you mean the jumper settings on the drives, then I have had them out and checked them ##
what are they each set as ?

also, are you auto-burning with nero (as dvdshrink completes it's tasks) ?

Again, clean out InCD.

Also, do not try to change the bookmark on -R disks. Bitsetting will most likely produce coasters on -Rs.

I don't auto burn... I also get this message with DVDDecrypter. I always back up to HD first then burn.
The drive won't recognise any discs so I can't run the lens cleaner..lol
Not sure what you mean by bookmarking discs, but both formats of disc +/- give the same error!

You have bookmarking set, probably from DVD Shrink - check Backup-->Burn Settings and untick Booktype DVD-ROM IF you are using -R disks.

would indicate that InCD is still there.

oops! Lol... I removed inCD after I posted the log..sorry!

The option to untick booktype DVD-ROM is unavailable to me as it is greyed out!

I have both +/- discs here, but this not the problem at the moment as the drive now refuses to recognise any DVD or CD that I put in the drive! This is after upgrading the official firmware to the latest release.

I can't understand why this is the second drive to do this to me in a couple of months. I have changed nothing that I know of. Both drives quite happily burnt to +/- discs and cds, then out of the blue I get the Power Calibration error for whatever I try to burn. I have not changed the discs that I use either. I'm well cheesed off!
