DVD2AVI or what ever works??
I have been around for some time BUT I am a compleat newbi in DVD ripping, converting and just about anything to do with movies.
I have a movie 4.22 Gb long all ready ripped. It is much to large for what I want to do with it. I tried DivXCreate 6. I got a good Divx copy but it is two copies end on end in the same file. A (VTS_02_1.divx) I got this by taking 4 of 20 VOB files, that I thought were the guts of the movie, and converted. I got a 701 mg file. I either can't or don't know if I did find info on how to cut off the second half in a Divx file.
I used Dvd2avi 1.77.4. I ran 2 passes. I got 1 .avi file the video is superb no audio. I did get 3 .ac3 audio files all seem to be good but they aren't with the video. I either can't or don't know if I did find info on how to join the video and the audio together.
Obviously if I am to do this thing I need an eduction and or help.
