Which is the best program for Mpeg2 to Divx Convertion.

I use MpegMediator, it is the fastest i ever use but i want a newest and faster

I do many TV captures every day and i compressed them with mpeg mediator but I want a converter with bult in trim and cut futures

any other suggestions?

For a straight mpeg 2 file conversion I use/like Virtualdub mpeg2
